Call for Papers: Indonesian Journal of Law and Islamic Law EISSN: 2775-460X     Upcoming Issues:
  • Vol. 8, No. 2 (December 2026)
  • Vol. 9, No. 1 (June 2027)
Focus and Scope This journal welcomes manuscripts that focus on the following four primary areas:
  1. Islamic Economic Law: Encompassing family law, business law, welfare state policies, and international law.
  2. Criminal Law: Encompassing Islamic criminal law, Indonesian criminal law, and international criminal law.
  3. Law & Public Policy: Encompassing the politics of law in economics, Islamic economics, and constitutional law.
  4. Customary Law: Encompassing economics and welfare, as well as the interaction between Islamic and customary law.
Deadlines and Important Notes Please observe the following submission deadlines and special considerations for authors:
  1. December 2026 Issue: The submission deadline is October 11, 2026.
  2. June 2027 Issue: The submission deadline is March 9, 2027.
  3. Special Note: Manuscripts that align with the focus and scope and feature international collaboration (international authorship) will be given top priority in the review and publication process.
Submission Guidelines and Contact Information Authors must strictly adhere to the following Submission Guidelines:
  1. Manuscripts must conform to the official IJLIL Template and Author Guidelines.
  2. Submissions must be completed online via the IJLIL Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform at: https://ijl.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/ijl.
  3. The manuscript must not have been previously published, nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  4. The maximum acceptable similarity index (plagiarism check) is 20%.
